Why Leavenworth

Mountains, river, and a fire to sit by.

Leavenworth sits where Icicle Creek meets the Wenatchee River, on the dry side of the Cascades. Summers are sunny and winters bring real snow.

The setting makes good use of every hour. Trails start at the edge of town, the river is right there for rafting, and evenings end around a fire.

Sleeping Lady was built for retreats, with rooms tucked into the pines along Icicle Creek. Up the valley, Mountain Springs Lodge offers whole lodges and horse-drawn sleigh rides in winter.

We bring teams to Leavenworth when they want mountains, fresh air and a little adventure, a short drive from Seattle.
