Why Texas Hill Country
Big open land for big teams.
The Hill Country runs west of Austin and San Antonio in limestone hills, spring-fed rivers and working ranches. There is room here for a whole company to spread out.
Fredericksburg brings German heritage, a walkable Main Street and the wineries of the US 290 wine road. Lake LBJ and Horseshoe Bay add water and golf.
Ranch culture is real here, so horse work, campfires and outdoor dinners feel natural, not staged. Enchanted Rock gives teams a granite dome to climb at sunrise.
We bring teams to the Texas Hill Country when they want space, warmth and Texas hospitality at a fair price.

Questions
Planning a retreat in Texas Hill Country.
How do teams get to the Texas Hill Country?
Most teams fly into San Antonio (SAT) or Austin (AUS). Fredericksburg is about 65 minutes from SAT and about 1 hour 20 minutes from Austin. Dallas is about an hour's flight to either airport.
When is the best time for a retreat in the Hill Country?
March to May is bluebonnet season, with mild days and green hills. October and November are cool and dry, with harvest at the wineries. Summer is hot, so we plan around water and shade.
What size groups fit in the Hill Country?
Small groups can take over an inn, and AutoCamp Hill Country and Camp Lucy suit groups up to about 150. Horseshoe Bay Resort, with over 37,500 sq ft of meeting space, handles large company events.
What can a team do in the Hill Country?
Climb Enchanted Rock, paddle Lake LBJ, ride and work with horses, taste along the US 290 wine road and walk Fredericksburg's Main Street. Pedernales Falls is close for a swim or hike.
Who plans and runs the retreat?
The Renewal Office designs it around your goals using the TRO Six Pillars, then handles venue, programming, facilitators and production from the first call to the week after.
