Why Tucson
Desert stillness, built for wellbeing.
Tucson is ringed by mountains and covered in saguaros, with Saguaro National Park on both sides of town. Winter days are warm and dry when much of the country is cold.
Miraval Arizona started the modern wellness retreat here, and it still sets the bar. Meals, the spa and a full daily schedule are included, so the team can focus.
The city is also a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, with food traditions that run back thousands of years. Guest ranches with horses and real cowboy history sit right at the edge of town.
We bring teams to Tucson when wellbeing is the point, not a side activity.

From the office
Why we bring teams here.
We bring leadership teams and high-pressure groups to Tucson when they need real rest, not just a change of venue. Miraval's program and the desert do the heavy lifting.

Questions
Planning a retreat in Tucson.
How do teams get to Tucson?
Tucson International Airport (TUS) has nonstop flights from Los Angeles, Dallas, Denver and other hubs. Miraval runs a shared shuttle from TUS, about 45 minutes away. Phoenix Sky Harbor is about 2 hours by car.
When is the best time for a retreat in Tucson?
October to April, when days are warm and dry and nights are cool. Spring brings desert wildflowers. Summer is very hot, so we plan early mornings and indoor work if a team must go then.
What size groups fit in Tucson?
Miraval Arizona suits smaller groups, and adult guests only. Hacienda del Sol and Tanque Verde Ranch handle groups of 20 to about 200, and Loews Ventana Canyon takes large groups.
What can a team do in Tucson?
Work with horses at Miraval, hike Sabino Canyon and Saguaro National Park, climb on Mount Lemmon and cook with Sonoran ingredients. Guest ranches add trail rides and cowboy breakfasts.
Who plans and runs the retreat?
The Renewal Office designs it around your goals using the TRO Six Pillars, then handles venue, programming, facilitators and production from the first call to the week after.
