Why Vail
A mountain village that runs on foot.
Vail Village and Lionshead are built for walking, so a team moves from session to dinner without a shuttle. Gore Creek runs right through the middle of it.
In summer the gondolas carry groups up to meadows, trails and long views of the Gore Range. In winter the same lifts open one of the largest ski mountains in North America.
The hotels are deep in group experience, from big ballrooms to small creekside lodges. That makes it easy to scale a program from a leadership team to a full company.
We bring teams to Vail when they want mountain air, real hospitality and an easy drive from Denver.

Questions
Planning a retreat in Vail.
How far is Vail from Denver?
Vail is about a 2 hour drive from Denver International Airport on I-70, and under 100 miles from the city. Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is about 40 minutes away and has seasonal nonstop service.
When is the best time for a retreat in Vail?
June to September brings wildflowers, open trails and gondola access at lower rates than winter. December to March is ski season, and the peak weeks book early and cost the most.
What size groups fit in Vail?
Austria Haus suits a small team of under 30. The Sebastian and Four Seasons handle groups up to about 150 to 200, and Sonnenalp, Grand Hyatt Vail and The Hythe take large groups of 300 and more.
What can a team do in Vail?
Hike to Booth Falls, ride the gondola to Eagle's Nest, raft the Eagle or Colorado River and walk the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. In winter the program moves to the ski mountain.
Who plans and runs the retreat?
The Renewal Office designs it around your goals using the TRO Six Pillars, then handles venue, programming, facilitators and production from the first call to the week after.
